Mayor Rawlings-Blake's Statement on Passing of Arnold M. Jolivet
BALTIMORE, Md. (July 28, 2014)—Today, Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake issued a statement regarding the passing of Arnold M. Jolivet:
"I was saddened to learn of Arnold Jolivet's passing. Mr. Jolivet was a consistent, devoted and vocal champion for minority businesses. His unapologetic approach to overcoming obstacles will always be his legacy. He understood, as I do, that progress cannot be achieved without economic parity for minority-owned businesses. His dedication and vigor inspired me and, while today is a sad day for minority businesses throughout the region, I aspire to honor his memory and encourage others to do the same."
