Mayor Brandon M. Scott and Director of the Office of Sustainability, Lisa McNeilly, announced an updated set of goals for Baltimore City’s Climate Action Plan.

In celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service, Mayor Brandon M. Scott and Baltimore Corps, joined by more than a dozen local and national program and philanthropic partners, announced the Campaign for Citywide Service: a three-year, $30 million campaign to create thousands of full-time service opportunities in Baltimore City. 

As part of the Baltimore Vs. COVID Campaign, the Baltimore City Health Department (BCHD), in partnership with the Mayor’s Office and the Office of Performance and Innovation (OPI), will air a vaccine awareness PSA on cable and broadcast television beginning today, January 10, 2022. 

On November 3, 2021, the Board of Estimates (BOE) approved the request submitted by Mayor Brandon M. Scott and Director of the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement (MONSE) Shantay Jackson to allocate more funding towards Metro Crime Stoppers Gun Tip and Homicide Hotline Rewards with the goal of encouraging residents to come forward with information that will help police solve crimes.
